旅と芸術 ハフィス・ベルチンガー（アノアノギャラリー） Hafis : Travel - Artist (anoano galerie)

東京、山手線の大塚駅から歩いて10分ほどのところにあるアノアノギャラリーで、ハフィス・ベルチンガーの展覧会が行われた。

オープン前にギャラリーを訪れてしまったが、心よく会場を開けてくれて、画家と作品についての詳しい解説までしていただいた。

感謝の念しきり。

ハフィス・ベルチンガーは、1933年にスイス人の父とレバノン人の母の間で、レバノンに生まれた。

その後、スイスに渡り、建築家になるための教育を受けたが、現在のスイスでは、ハフィスは画家というよりは、彫刻家として知られているという。

現在は、世界中を旅しながら、作品を作り続けている。

1992年に来日し、自転車を使って北海道から九州まで日本を横断した。その際も、展覧会を開いている。

今回はその時以来の来日で、福島県の原発事故の跡地を訪れて、多くの作品を作り上げ、それが、アノアノギャラリーで展示されていた。

ハフィスは、福島原発の事故について、一般的な見方とは異なって、放射能が自然に与える影響を、プラスの要素として見ているという。

何かの対象を描いているというよりは、そこから発している、あるいは受け取ったものを描いているように思われた。
